DJ PSYCOBABA a.k.a Akhil Arora is from the Land of the Gods – INDIA.
Since he was 17, he has sought electronic music, thereafter which he began playing music at outdoor parties in 2004.
His encounter with Psychedelic Music began when he first visited the hills of Manali. He discovered his passion for music and then started pursuing it by playing for parties in and around Manali.
Today, he is successfully one of the leading upcoming Morning Psy-Trance DJs of India.
His mixed form of energy is a style that transcends the audience to a sublime level of infusions of hardcore yet refreshingly morning trips.
DJ PSYCOBABA has been known to make his audience dance till they drop. He gives his best every time he plays for the psy-hungry crowd, ensuring some great stories filled with a lot of smiling surprises.
DJ PSYCOBABA’s speciality lies in Full On & Progressive Psy-Trance, with carefully selected tracks that emanate great psy-vibes that infect his audience each time with more surprise elements to keep them on their toes.

The definition of a band generally invokes the stereotypical image of a couple of people blaring out redundant rhythms and the ubiquitous love ballad. But sometimes all that’s needed is a few good men to spin a traditional concept into something refreshingly new.
It’s the incessant bass, screaming arpeggios and piercing percussions that truly define Helium Project. Their sound is all about paying homage to their first love, “Music”, and particularly about an explosive electronic experience. Perhaps just “electronica” could define the resulting product---but then, it isn’t about neat packaging. It’s about pushing the envelope and fusing influences to create a distinctive brand of urban Indian dance music. And that is exactly what Helium Project does.
Arijit excels in the genre of Techno & Progressive house, his gigs are usually laced with fantastic larger than life visuals and he handpicks the best produced tracks across the globe for his DJ Sets, this is an experience that you would cherish forever and a vice that you would crave to experience every moment! They have been providing the canvas for an array of that era’s house music.
Helium Project has been collaborating with Producers and Djs like UMEK, Azax Syndrom, D-Nox, Atmos, Breed aka Dj Nasha, AudioJack, Ankit Kocher aka Dj Ankytrixx, Tarun aka Boombaba, Kris Korrea from BBC, Dj Shiva Moon, AFM to name a few.
As collaborative production work flooded their studio their stock as a one of the best DJs in the country rose and so did their value as a key, if not crucial, remixer. Turning heads throughout the industry, Helium Project soon infiltrated numerous clubs across the country.
If you happen to visit Mumbai any given month and find a number of Helium Project themed throw-downs in the city’s esteemed venues, then you must not think twice before stepping in to their gigs. Like we mentioned – each of their gigs are as memorable as their last, same was the case when Helium Project did a Absolute Glimmer Launch Party at Athena in Bangalore which was a head turner for many in the city.
Fresh from his smashing opening set at Blue Frog for superstar Dj/Producer Azax Syndrom, Helium Project is reaching new heights with constant introduction of new styles and techniques in his live mixes along with his killer instinct for picking the best sounds and producers for his sets.
In the recent past Helium Project has been involved in the Rework of Liquid Dreams, slated to release in 2010 on Juno Records. Liquid dreams sounds like a classic, a blast from the past mix of pure progressive basslines with modern day Techno layers all the through.
Helium Project has been headlining a lot of recent live acts with a super Progressive Tech set to begin the year 2010 @ Blend in Chennai followed by some main room Grind-house sets at Zenzi Mills alongside AudioJack.
Helium Project teamed up with The TechnoBoy very recently for Fuga in Bangalore hugely supported by Submerge post which Helium delivered another smasher of set at Zenzi Mills for the Wall of the VJs.
It’s true that there are other likeminded DJ/Producers in the world comparable to Helium Project, but for the most part, they choose a genre and master it. Ask them to flip another variety of EDM with the same intense knowledge and sleek-savvy and you’ll be hard pressed to find someone that’ll do it to Helium Project’s extent.

Daniel Portman ,was born and raised in the suburbs of Zurich, Switzerland. He fell in love with electronic music at a very young age. It was the late 90s, with all its ups and downs, when young Daniel started to test his musical abilities on an Akai2000 sampler and an old sequencer.
After a long ride of experimenting, he ended up with a bunch of tracks. “This sound will make me famous”; he thought. He went to different record companies and tried to sell his stuff, but the answers were always:
“Please, close the door when you leave!”
So, Daniel went back to his small bedroom studio, made another bunch of tracks.
In 2006 he met Chris Reece, label owner of Unreleased Digital. All the years spent in his room producing his music finally paid off. Chris called Daniel only to ask him: “Where should I send the contract to?”
In April 2007, his first EP “Backside / Evolution” was released on Unreleased Digital. Shortly after, in June 2007, his follow up EP “I never Sleep / Essence” was released.
Unreleased Digital is until now his inhouse label where he puts out almost all of his songs.
But he also signed some tracks to Sultan’s label Harem Records, to Sebastian Ingrosso’s Label Refune Records, to Above & Beyond’s label AnjunaDeep or to EDX’s label PinkStar Records.
November 7th, 2008 Daniel Portman returned with his first regular artist album called “Twisted Memories – Poems in C-Minor”. Containing 9 of his top sellers in 2008 as well as 6 brand new tunes.
2009 begun like a firework for Daniel. “Open You Mind” was the first single out of the album, with remixes from Dinka, Stan Kolev or Shawn Mitiska. This package entered charts on all relevant download stores and remained there quit a while.
Together with his studio buddy Rino Cabrera he delivered “Sumatra” that was released in late April on his inhouse label “Unreleased Digital”. This smooth summer vibe track became well known in all major clubs.
His most recent work is “Port 4 – Exhale”. Daniel started this series in 2007 with “Port One”.
Port 4 includes for tracks in typically Daniel Portman style; progressive house beats mixed with tech house sounds, that’s what he’s known and loved for.

Da Fresh , DJ, Producer, Remixer and Live act since 2000...
Traditional course of a young man who grew in the eighties... Born in a small french provincial town, middle class music lovers family, big brother as teacher and dealer of good sounds, Arnaud (his real surname) will quickly combine a passion for the music with an immoderate taste for computers and music machines. Afterwards attempts of rock band quickly fallen through, strong of the traditional high-school pupil influences of the time (The Cure, Anne Clark, Depeche Mode...), the young man will succumb very quickly to the french touch success in the nineties. Fascinated by the "Homework" of Daft Punk or the "Pansoul" of Motorbass, then student in an art school, it's under the name of Da Fresh that he will begin the first tentatives of solo composition. Determined and hard worker, he will produce quickly the titles which will launch him on the international electronic music scene : his first album "Supa Feeling" released in 2002 on the Lyon based label Weaked Records will receive excellent criticisms, the hit "Fuckin Track" will make the remainder... Then he will be divided between a full-time job of DJ, while keeping a real knowledge of producer and remixer. Oriented to originality and effectiveness : he always continues with a lot of tracks (Broken Dream, Spaghetti Groove, Age Of Love, Yesterday, Right On Time, Once Again...) and remixes for great labels (1605, Definitive, Toolroom, Armada, Funk Farm, Hot Fingers, BluFin, Moonbeam Digital...), and created his own label Freshin Records.
